Mark focuses on senior management appointments from Head of Function to Board level across a broad spectrum of industries and functions. He is particularly focused on assisting clients in the Consumer, Food and retail sectors as well the Technology areas. However he executed many searches in both Financial Services and Professional services also. He is considered a leading consultant the recruitment of all C suite positions in particular CEO, CFO, HRD and Marketing Directors.
As practice leader of the Leadership Assessment practice in Ireland, Mark focuses a considerable amount of his time working with clients in the area of succession planning, assessment for development and individual assessment. He has authored a booked on the subject of succession planning and is considered an recognised expert in the area of assessment.
Prior to joining Amrop, Mark worked with Deloitte consulting as practice leader for the Human Capital Consulting division which encompassed Executive Search, Talent Management, HR Transformation and Change Management. Prior to this Mark worked with KPMG in Ireland and in Investment Banking in both London and Sydney.
Mark holds an honours degree in HRM and Accountancy while also holding Diplomas in Coaching, Learning and Development and Workplace Psychology. Mark is a certified Level A and B BPS practitioner is adept at using a range of assessments tools.
He is from Cork originally and very proud of it (like all Cork people!).
